City Heart Ministries 

Overview of Assistance: This food pantry is open every Tuesday from 9:30–11:30 am and provides free, pre-bagged grocery items to families in need. Any family may visit during open hours to receive groceries, and no qualifications or documentation are required. During the winter months, gently used and new winter coats are also available.

Mission for Area People

Overview of Assistance: If you are seeking assistance from Mission for Area People, you must first complete an intake application online through their website. After applying, a representative will contact you within 24 hours to 5 days to schedule an appointment for the Healthy Food Pantry. The Healthy Food Pantry is available by appointment on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 am–12:00 pm. During a pantry visit, households receive enough food to provide three meals per day for seven days. To ensure the correct amount of food is provided, proof of household members is required, such as social security cards or birth certificates.


The clothing store is open without an appointment on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 pm–2:00 pm during regular business hours

Want to Help? Donations of clothing and food are accepted during business hours. Both perishable and non-perishable food items are welcome, as long as they are not expired.

Overview of Assistance: Individuals and families seeking assistance can call 231-375-0067 to schedule an appointment to shop at Citi Boi Corporation. Appointments allow households to visit the clothing, household goods, and food pantry. Assistance is available once per month, and all items are provided at no cost.
